Proposed Idea
Using simulation, the light arm will be tested for heat capacity in relation to holding the LED strips providing artificial sunlight to the plant. In addition, the water system will be tested to ensure the proper dispensing of fluids to the plant.
Background


Proposed Method
Utilizing CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Simulations, the light arm will be tested for surface heat capacity resulting from the light emitted from the LED strips as well as the wire carrying the power to the strips. Additionally, the water system will be simulated to ensure the pressure flow and volume levels correlate to the desired mechanics of the pot.
Deliverables
The water system tested for pressure and volume flow and the light arm tested for stress and heat capacity.
